It’s an episode I wrote for Beyond Geek about a group who is trying to get to space in a balloon… Yeah, you read that right—a balloon. Well, more correctly, an airship.
Why would I share an episode of a television show for a personal newsletter? It’s because I’m a lifelong technology/comic book/science geek—that and I created/wrote/produced Beyond Geek, so it’s very much me. It could have easily been called The Stuff Joe Likes, but Beyond Geek sounded better.
You might be wondering the same thing Tim Robbins did in The Player, “Anybody know who Joe Gillis is?” (HINT: Hugh Jackman knows who Joe Gillis is.)
